High voltage instrument transformer is used to transform the high voltage or current into lower voltage or current for measuring and protection, which is applicable to 1kV to 220kV power system. Generally it is divided into 3KV, 6kV, 10kV, 35kV, 66kV, 110KV and 220kV.
The 10kV and 220kV is the most widely used. The output is mostly 200V or 100V or 5A or 1A.
