The pump turbine is designed based on the Francis turbine, which can be used as a turbine and a pump as well. This turbine is mainly used for the Pumped Storage Power Station, It can convert the redundant electric energy during low electric grid load into high value electric energy when electric grid gets peak, and is also suitable for the frequency modulation, phase modulation and stabilizing the periodicity and voltage of electric system.
